FARGO (AP) - Fargo homebuilder Larry Villella says he has suspended operations until criminal charges against him and his wife are resolved.
He and Catherine Sadler-Villella are accused of bilking her 75-year-old father out of more than $100,000 and forging his signature on a loan guarantee. They each are charged with felony exploitation of a vulnerable adult, forgery and misapplication of entrusted property.
Larry Villella owns Villella Custom Homes in Fargo. The couple live in Pelican Rapids, Minn. If convicted, they each face up to 40 years in prison.
