DEVILS LAKE (AP) - A Devils Lake business that's been in operation more than 38 years says it has planned permanent layoffs.

Warren, Minn.-based Nordic Fiberglass says 14 of its Devils Lake employees will lose their jobs after Jan. 1.

General Manager Wayne Spidahl would not say how many people are employed at the Devils Lake plant. He blamed the job cuts on slow sales for its products due to a downturn in the economy.
