MINOT (AP) - A call center in Minot will no longer handle questions and complaints for Northwest Airlines now that Northwest has been acquired by Delta Air Lines.
MLT Vacations spokeswoman Susan Worwa says about 45 workers at the company's NWA Customer Care center will be offered jobs within the company in Minot.
Worwa says there will be no "net loss" of jobs. She says the company's vacation packages business is growing.
MLT Vacations, based in Edina, Minn., is a Northwest subsidiary that sells vacation packages under the NWA WorldVacations, Worry-Free and Continental Vacations brands.
Worwa says MLT employs about 300 people in Minot, including about 45 in the Customer Care division, which are in the same location.
MLT has managed NWA Customer Care, which handles customer service issues, for Northwest Airlines, since 2003. Worwa says no date has been set for the closing.
