EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (AP) - Police say a man has died in a moped accident in East Grand Forks.

Police say the driver of a van turned left in front of the moped Saturday. The moped driver couldn't avoid the van. He fell off the moped and slid under the van, becoming stuck.

The fire department freed the man, but he was pronounced dead at a Grand Forks, N.D., hospital.

The name of the 63-year-old moped driver was not released.

The accident remains under investigation.
