CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. (AP) - Boat racing will be revved up a couple of notches when the Unlimited Light Hydroplane Racing Association's Pepsi Racing Power Cup Challenge takes place on the Missouri River near Chamberlain July 12-13. The boats reach speeds of up to 160 mph.
The races will be filmed for broadcast on the Speed Channel. Officials say the Chamberlain site will be the only ULHRA race to be broadcast on the network all year.
