DENVER (AP) -The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has named a new regional director to oversee eight Western states.
Steve Guertin was named the acting regional director last fall. He was the agency's budget officer for eight years in Washington, D.C., before his interim appointment.
The regional Fish and Wildlife office oversees Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.
