DICKINSON (AP) - Dickinson's police chief is moving into a different role for a few months.

Chuck Rummel will be the city administrator, until a full-time replacement is found for Greg Sund.

Sund is leaving Dickinson in October for a similar position in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Dickinson Mayor Dennis Johnson says he expects a new city administrator won't be hired until early next year.

Assistant Police Chief Stewart Stenberg will be filling in as the chief until then.
