NORTHWOOD (AP) - Crews are busy in Northwood tearing down buildings damaged by a tornado in August 2007.
Main Street buildings that housed a grocery store, law office, barber shop and cafe are coming down. So is the old Northwood Public School.
A new school is being built and is expected to be ready for graduation in late May. Northwood students are attending classes in nearby Hatton.
The tornado killed one person, injured 18 others and destroyed much of the Grand Forks County town of about 950.
