JAMESTOWN (AP) - The Highway Patrol says a collision of two semis on Interstate 94 spilled about 590 gallons of diesel fuel that was quickly contained. No one was hurt.

Patrol Lt. Eldon Mehrer says one semi struck the other from behind late Tuesday afternoon, then jackknifed, blocking both lanes of the interstate about seven miles west of Jamestown. Authorities said the crash punctured the tank of the other semi, spilling the diesel fuel.

Mehrer said dikes were built to contain the spill in about an hour. He said most of it settled in the ditch.

Mehrer said the driver of the semi that struck the other one was cited for care required. He was identified as 34-year-old Keith Terry of Clayton, Wash.
