RUGBY (AP) - Rugby's Heart of America Medical Center is planning a kidney dialysis unit.
CEO Jerry Jurena says the medical center is getting help from Trinity Hospital in Minot with preparing a budget for the unit, which would cost at least $300,000.
Trinity would provide a nephrologist and other staff for the Rugby unit, while the Heart of America Medical Center would provide the space and equipment.
The center has identified about a dozen people in the area who are traveling to other locations for dialysis.
