Authorities are investigating the drowning death of a Montana man in Lake Sakakawea.

FBI Special Agent Paul McCabe says the 18-year-old man from Fort Peck died Wednesday afternoon. His name has not been released.

McCabe says the man's death is considered suspicious. He says the man was seen with other people at the lake on Wednesday.

The FBI says no other details are being released.
