MEDORA (AP) - The new interpretive center at the Chateau de Mores State Historic Site has had more than 2,000 visitors since it opened in April.
The new $2 million building has more space for exhibits, and nicer facilities.
"Sales, including tickets, from May 2006 to this year have tripled," Site Supervisor Dee Linn said.
The site is administered by the state Historical Society of North Dakota. The center includes exhibit space, a gift shop, offices and a multipurpose room opening into an outdoor patio.
