GRAND FORKS (AP) - The principal of the Carl Ben Eielson Elementary School at the Air Force base here is taking a job in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, to help modernize the country's school system.

Terry Brenner, and 50 other principals from other countries, will work for Dubai's Education Ministry, to provide leadership for the country's 750 principals.

Brenner has up to a three-year leave of absence from the Grand Forks School Board. He plans to move to Dubai in August.

Brenner has been a principal in Grand Forks schools and a University of North Dakota instructor for the past 12 years.
