Airline boardings up in N.D.
Airline passenger boardings at North Dakota's eight commercial airports increased 5.5 percent in August.
The state Aeronautics Commission says the 57,222 boardings was a 10-year high for the month of August.
The Bismarck, Jamestown and Minot airports saw decreases in boardings over the year. Bismarck had the steepest drop, with a decrease of 1,286 passengers.
Fargo saw the biggest increase, with 4,132 additional passengers. Airports in Devils Lake, Dickinson, Grand Forks and Williston also had increases.
