FARGO (AP) - The brother of a woman who was severely burned when a Fargo home exploded says she has emerged from a coma at a Minneapolis-area hospital.
Twenty-seven-year-old Luul Omar had been in a coma since the Sept. 2 explosion, which is believed to have been caused by a natural gas leak.
Her brother, Abdi Omar, says his sister might undergo additional surgeries Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center.
A hospital spokeswoman says Luul Omar's condition has been upgraded from critical to serious.
Thirteen members of the Omar family were injured in the blast, which leveled part of a south Fargo duplex.
