FARGO (AP) - The Agriculture Department says warm, dry weather has aided harvest and sped the development of late season crops.
The agency says in its weekly crop report that farmers have started fall tillage and planting winter wheat.
Durum was 93 percent harvested, while spring wheat was nearly complete.
The agency says ranchers were busy weaning calves, hauling hay and cutting silage.
Pasture and range conditions were rated 51 percent very poor or poor.
