JAMESTOWN (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol will participate in the national safe-roads campaign during the Thanksgiving holiday today through Sunday.
The patrol will focus on strict enforcement of seatbelt violations as well as detection of drunken drivers.
Thanksgiving is traditionally a high-volume traffic period.
Troopers will concentrate their law-enforcement efforts during peak travel times throughout the holiday period.
