A group that funds developers of North Dakota farm products is giving money to six projects.
The quarterly grants from the Agricultural Products Utilization Commission, a state Commerce Department program better known as APUC, total nearly $134,000.
The largest grant, $46,000, is going to a Forest River operation called Lifeline Farms that would produce pigs to help critically ill liver patients.
Other projects getting money include a Tioga company developing a water-conserving, root-feeding system for plants and a wine vineyard operation in Buffalo.
