WYOLA, Mont. (AP) - A semitrailer tipped over, spilling about 34,000 pounds of frozen seafood across Interstate 90.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Tony Beehler says it happened Monday just before 10 a.m., near Wyola, when the semi driver pulled out to pass another vehicle and the truck drifted into the center median. The driver overcorrected, causing the tractor and trailer to tip onto the driver's side.
Beehler says the roof of the trailer split open, spilling the contents and blocking both westbound lanes of traffic.
The truck was owned by a North Dakota company, Pro Transport and Leasing. The driver, a 46-year-old man from Texas, was not injured and was cited for careless driving.
