WEST FARGO (AP) - Students are rallying behind a West Fargo teacher who was removed as adviser of the high school newspaper.
Dozens of people are members of a Facebook group called "Murphy's Army," set up to support Jeremy Murphy. Students also hope to meet with School Board members.
Murphy has said he was told that teachers and School Board members complained about "negative" content in the West Fargo High School Packer, though he wasn't given specifics on what that content was. He continues to serve as the school's yearbook adviser.
Principal Gary Clark has declined comment, saying the matter is a personnel issue.
