FARGO (AP) - About 30 volunteers worked through weekend rain and snow to plant some 650 trees and shrubs along the Red River in north Fargo's Trefoil Park.
The "Reforest the Red" project had sought to get about 1,000 trees into the ground. Fargo Park District Forester Jeff Haberman said the volunteers' effort was "amazing, considering the conditions."
