FARGO (AP) - Allegiant Air says it's launching nonstop jet service from Fargo to Orlando, Fla., in November.
Allegiant says the twice weekly flights will start Nov. 21.
Fargo airport General Manager Shawn Dobberstein says Orlando has been a favorite area travel destination for a long time.
Allegiant already offers direct flights from Fargo to Las Vegas and the Phoenix-Mesa area.
Dobberstein says the new service will give another boost to traffic at the Fargo airport.
The number of passenger boardings at the airport already is more than 9 percent above last year, with July and August the busiest months ever.
