GRAFTON (AP) - Health officials in Walsh County are reporting outbreaks of chicken pox and urging parents to make sure their children get a second chicken pox vaccination.
Wanda Kratochvil, the county health nurse, said five cases each have been confirmed in schools in Adams and Park River.
Kratochvil said children who had one shot to prevent chicken pox should get the second one. She said chicken pox is a mild disease for most children, but it can be serious for adolescents and adults.
