FARGO (AP) - Organizers of a ban on smoking in Fargo indoor workplaces, including bars and restaurants, have turned in petitions to get the measure on the June election ballot.
Dr. Byrum Cartwright, a member of Share the Air Fargo, says it's a "citizens' issue."
The group turned in more than 3,500 signatures to City Auditor Steve Sprague.
The proposal needs 2,850 names to get on the primary ballot.
