DICKINSON (AP) - Airport manager Matt Remynse is hoping a record number of passengers will fly out of the city this year, after a good holiday season.
"The holiday was very busy here," Remynse said after Christmas. "My parking lot is plum full."
"I believe boardings out of Dickinson will hit an all-time record," Dickinson Airport Authority Board member Craig Steve said. "It's real, real strong."
Remynse hopes Dickinson's airport can board 10,000 passengers in 2008. He expects the final numbers from 2007 will be about 2,500 short of that goal.
