STANLEY (AP) - The Highway Patrol says a collision between a pickup and semi along U.S. 2 in Stanley killed the pickup driver.

He was identified as Thorn Langham, 25, of Mohall.

Authorities said the pickup struck the semi trailer and became stuck under it after Langham failed to stop at an intersection shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday.

The semi driver, identified as Brian Ladwig, 32, of Moorhead, Minn., was not hurt. Authorities said the pickup was totaled.
