DICKINSON (AP) - A man has pleaded not guilty to negligent homicide and aggravated reckless driving in a crash that killed a 16-year-old girl.
Matthew Lietzke, 25, of Dickinson, appeared in Southwest District Court on Monday.
Authorities said 16-year-old Amber Brennan, of Dickinson, died of injuries in the July 23 crash, and three other people were injured.
Brennan was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle and was thrown from it when Lietzke lost control at a shallow crossing over the Green River, the Highway Patrol said. Lietzke was driving drunk at the time of the crash, authorities said.
Lietzke has been free on a personal recognizance bond, authorities said.
