Wade Larson's Tuesday article on Congressman Earl Pomeroy's five-week vacation contained an error in fact.
In the article, Larson writes that Congressman Pomeroy supports domestic drilling. This is false, according to the Congressional Record.
In the past 18 months alone, Congressman Pomeroy has voted no fewer than eight times to ban or block: oil exploration in western North Dakota; permits for oil exploration in western North Dakota; exploration in Alaska; deep-sea exploration, such as on the Outer Continental Shelf (three times); and new oil refineries.
I think you'll be hard-pressed to find an honest vote in favor of drilling cast by Congressman Pomeroy. Or perhaps he really voted in favor of drilling, before he voted against it.
