Where can a person get information and help in North Dakota? I have tried to get the answers to this question for some time now. I am an average person. I am cannot work because of a condition I have. I have tried to get help with social security form Dorgan, Conrad, and Pomery. I did not even get a response from Pomery. I got an unresponsive letter from Conrad's office. I got no help from any of them in any way.
My wife works very hard and works for one of the hospitals in the Bismarck area. We thought I was covered under Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Dakota but cannot get any information from them or the hospital. I have contacted North Dakota Insurance Commissioner's office. But, I got no answer. Why is that? No one can tell me.
I applied for Social Security Disability. I tried going though an organization called Allsup. They had me fill out some paper work and they sent a letter to Social Security. I was told that they could not take my case because of Student Loans I have that are overdue.
We are trying to file bankruptcy but cannot come up with the money. We get close, but then something breaks, and we have to use the money. Now, we cannot even save anything because of bills. We do not have credit cards and have not had one for 20 years. We pay all bills (that we can) with cash. My two children still live with us but for some reason or another, they cannot find work. They are trying to find work and help us. If it were not for my son and daughter helping me at home with repairs, nothing would get fixed. I cannot stand or sit for very long.
Will someone please tell me where I can find help? I am getting very upset with all of the government people and Departments. I need help. It seems to me that everyone else can get help. But when it comes to me and my family, everyone just ignores us. My wife and I are going through very tough times, with me not being able to work or to bring in any income. Is there any help out there for the average person?
