No matter your position on the wanton, wasteful, incomprehensible spending in the highly questionable stimulus-spending bill, the way it was arrogantly pushed through Congress was totally unprofessional and highly incompetent.

The fact that our pompous congressional delegation voted for this massive, pork-laden, debt-increasing, future-generation-enslaving bill without even reading it is the extreme height of incompetence.

We deserve better from our elected officials. They didn't read it, have no clue what's all in it, have no idea if it will work, yet they voted for it even though the Congressional Budget Office said it will deepen the recession and cause the GDP to decrease in years to come.

This kind of incompetence in private industry would be criminal, but not in Congress, which is operating more like a den of thieves than honorable lawmakers.

The last time this kind of blatantly partisan political maneuvering was done outside of third-world banana republics was when the Nazis took control of Germany and paved the way for Hitler to become dictator. This is possible when politicians vote for bills that don't go through normal channels and aren't even read.

God help us, one and all, and have mercy on all the children who will be saddled with the debt for generations to come.
