Obama wants gun control by secrecy

Obama's war on prosperity is well under way. Also, a war on our rights … particularly the right to bear arms guaranteed by the Second Amendment!

Two bills are now before Congress, maybe more. One is HR45, the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009. Basically, this "little" piece of legislation would make it illegal to own a firearm any rifle with a clip or any pistol unless:

n It is registered.

n You're fingerprinted.

n You supply a current driver's license and Social Security number.

n You submit to a physical and mental evaluation at any time of their choosing.

n Each update change of ownership through private or public sale - must be reported and costs $25. If you fail to do so, you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject to a year in jail.

Guns must be locked and inaccessible to children under 18. Government would have the right to come and inspect, and if they find you not in compliance, you could spend up to five years in prison.

The Second Amendment guarantees us the right to bear arms to protect ourselves, families, businesses and property, and defend ourselves from tyrannical government. The real reason Obama wants gun control is guns are the only thing standing in the way of imposition of Obama-style government. After they have our guns, they will have nothing to fear. As always its all about power and control. Remember, criminals and terrorists will always have guns. Think about it.
