Have you heard the latest news? The sun came up this morning because President Obama signed an executive order giving it permission to do its job. This is just about as ridiculous as the alphabet networks "reporting" that Obama should get credit for our military shooting those Muslim terrorist pirates off the coast of Somalia. Give credit to those who deserve it: our military.
Section 2 of Article II of the Constitution names the president as commander in chief of the military. President Obama as commander in chief should support the military. The administration should verbally support the allies of America and verbally condemn the enemies of America. But this administration has said some questionable statements that do not seem to support our military.
Treason conjures up all kinds of negative connotations, such as betrayal, espionage and war crimes. These United States have written a constitution that clearly defines treason in Article III Section 2 as when our enemies are given aid and comfort. Benedict Arnold and Alger Hiss are two names that come to mind when one considers acts of treason.
Have some politicians committed treason against this constitutional republic? Has the Obama administration helped the enemies of the United States by threatening to cut military spending, and thus putting members of the service in danger? Has the Obama administration committed treason by revealing secret interrogation methods that have saved American lives? Has the Obama administration committed treason by shaking hands with, laughing with, hugging and endorsing foreign leaders who have openly stated their intentions to destroy the United States?
Men in suits should not tell men in uniforms how to do their job. No president should have to bow to any foreign dictator. The radical Muslim terrorist will take advantage of any perceived weakness.
