I so highly respect John Edwards' honesty and integrity for his admissions to an affair, despite the chance it might affect his political career, his job, his reputation, etc. Any man who would lie to his (for better/for worse; till death do us part) wife, and the world, about something as sensitive and private as 'sexual encounter(s)' can't be trusted in anything, can he? It makes me think there are some politicians in Washington DC who will tell the truth despite the, perhaps, consequences, for truth's sake.
Thank you, John Edwards, for being an honorable man.
