Have you all noticed how the big flap over "torture" ceased? It all just disappeared - it was in the newspapers and on every TV channel 24 hours a day for three solid weeks. Then, in a blink, it's gone.

The last we saw of "torture" was Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi with a sheaf of papers, which got as mixed up as her story, exclaiming with animated gestures before a covey of news reporters - it was terrifying. National attention and worldwide attention. What an act.

Then Majority Leader Steney Hoyer got a two-handed grip on her arm and dragged her off the stage. That was the last we have seen of Speaker Nancy. She's gone missing. Next thing we'll see her picture on the side of our milk cartons.

What if, just what if, that could be duplicated 534 more times? Tantalizing thought.
