What in the world is going on? I get so angry with our politicians in Washington who do nothing but play politics and cater to special interests or lobbyists who have given them perks. Why don't they do what is right?

Example, not drilling for oil in our own country. Answer, utter stupidity. We have billions of barrels waiting to be drilled, but still in the ground. Thank you, wacko environmentalists and stupid politicians. In 2007, we gave OPEC $750 billion. In the last 30 years, we have given OPEC $7 trillion. We are being held hostage in our own country because we cannot drill in our own land, or offshore.

Why don't we close the border with Mexico? Utter stupidity, with too many reasons to detail, but here is one. If this liberal Congress passes the amnesty bill, rapists, drug dealers, kidnappers and even terrorists will pour across our southern border knowing amnesty will be handed to them.

Global warming. Utter stupidity! A few weeks ago, Lisa Johnson, head of the Environmental Protection Agency, sent a nine-page letter to a Republican senator saying that global warming is just a theory and, maybe, with scientifically no proof. John Coleman, who founded the Weather Channel, said "Global Warming is the greatest scam in history." The cost of every American going "green" will be in the hundreds and thousands of dollars.

So far, I am so disappointed in our president. He ran on fiscal responsibility, no lobbyists (the report now is there are more patrolling Congress than before), no more earmarks and that he personally would go through every bill "line by line" to eliminate all earmarks. Well, according to the organization "Citizens Against Government Waste," the earmarks or pork in the last so-called stimulus bill for 2009 is $9,001,246,707. I consider President Obama a diehard socialist, and that is just where our country is headed.

Wake up America! One of the earmarks in the stimulus bill is for the "taxpayers get tattooed award" for $200,000 for a tattoo removal program introduced by Howard Berman, a Democrat from California.
