Imagine an arsonist at a fire criticizing the fire department's firefighting efforts at a fire the arsonist set. Now, you can appreciate the mess the Republican party is in. Eight years of Republican rule have set left nothing but ruins of our retirement savings, our economy and our place in the world. Meantime, the Republicans come out with a budget with no numbers, and act as if they are appalled by deficits.

As if they just awoke from a sleep, they suddenly have eyes, and voices that were absent when Bush was wrecking havoc on the economy. Now when the same people that created the mess are faced with the prospect of paying for it, they rail against tax increases for those that made out best during the Bush robbery.

As they bow down to Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck promising to help spread panic and pray for the failure of the Democrats, the arsonist have no remorse. As long as it's not their house burning, they enjoy the heat.
