Once again the Bismarck Park Board, with the exception of Jennifer DeForest, has spoken with common sense missing.
The latest sculpture of the United Tribes eagle series now has been slammed down because a so-called art policy is not in place.
The way that is moving (in this case not moving), there may never be a consensus, as art is the most subjective of any cultural form.
Back to the eagle: It seems that this last piece had already been grandfathered in to be sculpted quite some time ago. Couldn't this final piece have been accomplished without controversy?
Surely, community should be what the park board is about. Surely, it's obviously not.
