Those that buy into man-induced global warming without even thinking about it have to be totally beyond even my imagination. Do you people really think that man can change the climate? Maybe by setting off 10,000 huge nuclear bombs we might get some nuclear winter as has been predicted, but we don't even know that for certain. Even our representative in Congress, Earl Pomeroy, says the debate has ended regarding CO2 in the atmosphere causing global warming. It most certainly has not since there has never been a debate.
With all the hoopla about "carbon footprints" and "cap and trade," we have allowed ourselves to be part of the biggest con game ever perpetuated on the people of the world. We have scared our kids half to death about something that is never going to happen. Now even the EPAhas said something to the effect that CO2 is a harmful gas. Let's see any of you live without CO2 that makes the plants grow. Some say even Ford has converted a plant that made SUVs to electric cars.
Never a thought about how much CO2 is created by making batteries and when the windmills and solar energy quit getting massive subsidies, we will be right back to coal-fired power plants. And too, what do you expect a business to do when so many of their customers have bought into the CO2 hoax? Right along with that there are people going to make billions with the cap and trade nonsense. Al Gore comes to mind immediately. I don't know how we could have let this happen to ourselves when there are thousands of highly qualified scientists who say man-induced global warming is nonsense.
I'm going to request, no, I am going to demand that some qualified scientist respond to my question: How can you say that CO2 causes global warming when CO2 makes up less than 1/10 of 1 percent of the gases that make up our atmosphere? This, along with the fact that half of the CO2 we put into the atmosphere today is gone in 10 years and the half that is remaining, half of that will be gone in the next 10 years.
I await your response.
