In the Tribune on Oct. 3, there was a listing of movies that were to open that day.

On the list was "An American Carol"which, according to USAToday, is a spoof about moviemaker Michael Moore and TV host Rosie O'Donnell, among others.

Imagine my surprise when Ichecked the movie listings of our two Bismarck theaters and could not find "An American Carol" listed among 27 scheduled movies. (Ican't believe that "Beer for My Horses"is a bigger draw.)

Irecall that Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 911" played in town right after it was released, and it, too, was controversial at the time.

We have all heard of the alleged biased media. Have our two Bismarck movie theaters gone that route, too?

In addition, Iwent to the movies on Saturday and guess what? There was a preview of a new Oliver Stone (of "Nixon"fame)movie titled "W,"which is a putdown of our current president. More bias or just tacky?
