I find the upcoming election interesting, with the top concern of North Dakotans to be economic development and jobs. In discussions, I also find a similarity in the level of support for Gov. John Hoeven for another term. To me this comes as no surprise since Gov. Hoeven has dedicated a lifetime to economic development and job creation.
As a young person raising a family in this great state, North Dakota's issue today isn't creating jobs for people, but finding enough of the right people to fill the thousands of new jobs that have been created in the state. This growth is taking place across the board, in every industry sector.
I have taken interest in Gov. Hoeven's leadership. Our fine state has grown in so many ways: to a diverse economy with more jobs, to a growing population and more young people staying in the state or even moving back as I did. Gov. Hoeven's leadership has proven he absolutely has the leadership abilities to grow North Dakota's economy and create jobs.
I have great confidence in Gov. Hoeven and believe the choice is pretty clear for North Dakotans who want to see this growth continue. I see him as more than just a governor, I see him as a proven leader who will continue to grow North Dakota's economy and create even more jobs. I have nothing at stake in this election other than the future of myself and my children. Vote John Hoeven for Governor on Nov. 4.
