Social Security is the real crisis

Congress wants to subject us to massive tax increases and a health care nightmare with their socialized medicine scheme. They intend to exempt themselves. We have seen this behavior before. Prior to 1983, Congress exempted themselves from Social Security.

The biased liberal media supports its beloved Democratic Party and its Marxist agenda by constantly reporting fake "crises" like global warming and 47 million "uninsured" Americans (16 million if you don't count illegal aliens and those covered by Medicaid). They covered Bernard Madoff 24-7, but not the soon collapse of the world's biggest Ponzi scheme.

While liberals tell us that the sky really is falling this time, a real crisis approaches. Congress spent the Social Security trust fund on vote-buying schemes like social welfare programs, windmills and ethanol. The trust fund is just an IOU for trillions of dollars.

Social Security will soon begin paying out more than it takes in. Due to the kind of behavior that put Madoff away for 150 years, this fraudulent "trust fund" cannot cover the shortfall.

The media could be reporting a real crisis, but that would make us question government.

Under socialized medicine, politicians could reduce Social Security rolls by denying the elderly health care. Democrats also want deep cuts in the already bankrupt Medicare program to pay for it.

"Fixing" Social Security would require at least the trillions that the socialists intend to borrow for socialized medicine. Senior citizens need Social Security more than younger citizens need Medicare. Congress should scrap all plans for socialized medicine, including Sen. Kent Conrad's socialized medicine co-op and take care of seniors first. Congress could start by trying to fix its Social Security mess.

Congress didn't want to participate in Social Security and now socialized medicine. The last thing they want to do is subject themselves to their own incompetence.
