Kick them all out of office

I know why Washington isn't worried about how it's going to pay for universal health care, the bail-outs, amnesty for illegal immigrants, weather change, cap-and-trade and the hundreds of earmarks and pork in every bill passed by Congress.

Unlike us citizens, members of Congress have retirement income and full health care for life, they never get laid off and they don't take salary cuts. Actually, they give themselves raises every term.

Washington isn't worried about the overspending and the imminent higher taxes on everything, including air. Most politicians will just vote themselves a raise and/or write themselves out of the laws.

Politicians don't care where the money is coming from, because they don't care how hard we citizens have to work for what they take from us. They can print more, borrow more or invent another social program to raise taxes and spend the proceeds on other things like the big Ponzi scheme: Social Security.

What politicians are really worried about is whether what they are doing is going to grease enough palms in labor, entertainment, media, illegal immigrants, the lazy and socialists to get re-elected so they can stay on the American people's payroll. They are worried that government won't grow big enough and be in charge of everything because they might be out of a job.

All of this self-serving and power-grabbing has begun to make America's government what America freed herself from in 1776, and that is a royalty that does not represent the people and promotes itself. It's definitely changing Americans from being self-assured to being government-dependent and handout-loving serfs of the kingdom of Washington.

My solution? Vote all incumbents out, regardless of party and limit terms. By the time the new guys figure how to ignore and rob their constituents, they will be gone.
