We disavow God at our own peril

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." (George Santayana)

Some have disavowed God, to their peril, in the past. So says Romans 10, 11. But how can anyone look at the myriad forms of life on this earth, with attributes even science can't fully explain, and conclude there is no creator? (Psalm 14:1)

Some come up with a theory of evolution. But the "scientific" laws of thermodynamics refute the "theory" of evolution. Things do not go onward and upward. (1 Timothy 6:20)

And how can anyone look at this great nation and not realize we've been blessed more in a few centuries than others over thousands of years?

Only ignorance or lies can deny the fact that our founders and founding documents recognized our freedoms and blessings come from our creator and not government. (Matthew 22:15-21) Our blessings have been magnified by our support of Israel. (Genesis 12: 1-3)

Yet today, liberal leaders in Washington and elsewhere, mostly Democrats, are leading us away from our founding tenets. One lie they tell is that there is a wall of separation between church and state. This is not in our founding documents, nor was it the intent of our founders.

Think about our Supreme Court. In the past it ruled that slavery was OK in Dred Scott. A wall of separation between church and state, was added in 1947, Hugo Black writing. Now they rule - and rule is a good word - that killing babies is OK. And having pornography almost anywhere is OK, but the Ten Commandments may harm someone.

God not only removes blessings, but also adds curses to nations that show him disregard. (Deuteronomy 28) Right now, we have gangs roaming our big cities, pornography everywhere, an epidemic of drugs, failing and sometimes dangerous government schools. Morality in general is going down nationwide.

Psalm 19 and Romans 8 are good places to start learning what an awesome God we have.
