The Lewis and Clark Riverboat, now under new ownership, launched its new river cruises schedule this weekend.
On Sundays and Mondays, cruisers can chomp down some pizza while the historic riverboat heads up and down the river; Tuesday evening dinner cruises feature Famous Dave's. The cruises also feature a cash bar.
The Lewis and Clark Riverboat was recently purchased by the Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation; they have 18 scheduled cruises a week, including the three dinner cruises on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The riverboat also is available for private parties, said Tracy Potter with the foundation.

He hired two new, full-time employees for the Bismarck business.
Jewelry parties
A new direct sales, home party business is now in Bismarck.
Erika Edwards' home-based, independent consulting business, Gems to Jewels, hosts jewelry-making parties for all ages, using copper, sterling silver and gold and natural beads and gemstones.
"I bring my kit and Ijust encourage people to design whatever they want,"she said. "It's a lot of fun."
Edwards was working for another direct sales business when she found Gems to Jewels, a 2-year-old company with about 100 consultants in the country. There were no consultants in North Dakota at the time, so she took the plunge.
