Bismarck detectives are working to identify a man found dead in a downtown office building's storage room.
Bismarck Police Lt. Doug Ketterling said officers responded early Friday to a 911 call regarding an unresponsive person in a rental storage unit in the basement of an office building on the 100 block of North Fourth Street.
Ketterling said officers found an adult male dead in the storage area. The man had "no outward signs of trauma," he said.
Lt. Dan Donlin said alcohol was present in the room where the body was found.
The storage area is accessed infrequently, so it is unknown how long the body was there, Donlin said.
The man was discovered by a cable company employee, Ketterling said.
Police have no reports of missing persons who would match the description of the man, Donlin said.
Donlin said an autopsy will be performed sometime next week.
The death remains under investigation. No other details about the body are being released at this time.
