Five men forced their way into a home on Renee Drive and assaulted a man early Saturday morning, according to police reports.

A resident of the home was hit over the head with a pool cue when he confronted the men, according to reports. He was also stabbed as he attempted to protect himself, the report said.

Two photo discs worth $2, and one mini, 23-inch golf putter were stolen from the residence.

The resident did not know the men, the report said.

Police said Sunday afternoon that there were no suspects, and no one had been arrested.
