Bismarck police now have five business burglaries to investigate in northeast Bismarck, and Mandan police are investigating one similar break in.

Sgt. Dwight Offerman said three burglary reports came in Monday from businesses in the area of Industrial Drive. Two other burglaries at businesses in that area had been reported on Sunday.

North Country Trucks and Parts, 1660 Industrial Drive, was entered between 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, Offerman said. He said more than $1,000 in cash was stolen, and whoever broke in caused $250 damage to a door.

C S Doors Inc., 960 Industrial Drive, was entered between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday, Offerman said. He said $440 in tools were stolen and a desk was damaged. There was no sign of forced entry to the business.

Western Engineered Solutions Inc., 1911 Revere Drive, was entered between 5 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 1:30 p.m. Monday, Offerman said. He said about tools valued at about $5,600 were stolen, as were cash and a fax machine totaling $180. There was no sign of forced entry at the business.

Nothing was reported stolen in the two burglaries called in on Sunday.

A door at Sweeney Brothers Tractor Co., 1600 Industrial Drive, was pried open before 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, Sgt. Mark Buschena said.

A door at Reidman's Automotive, 3550 E. Divide Ave., was pried open between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Friday, Buschena said.

The burglaries are under investigation.

Mandan police also are investigating a business burglary from over the weekend, Lt. Paul Leingang said.

Classic Yard Lawn and Garden Center, 1701 Mandan Ave., was entered Saturday or Sunday, Leingang said. He said the owner of the business discovered a mess in the business Monday morning. Tills had been pried open, as had a door. Cash was stolen, Leingang said.

The burglary is under investigation.
