Members wanted for recycling committee

The Bismarck City Commission and the Public Works Service Operations are seeking applications from Bismarck residents and members of the business community who have implemented recycling efforts in their household or business, for membership in a steering committee.

The committee will assist the city with the review and development of recycling efforts.

The eight-member steering committee will consist of the public works service director, a recycling specialist, the assistant city administrator and City Commissioner Mike Seminary, two Bismarck residents and two people from the Bismarck business community.

The Recycling Task Force will meet twice per month through May 2009.
