Anyone wanting to gain some knowledge on North Dakota law has until Friday to sign up for the North Dakota Bar Association's "People's Law School."

The school will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. each Tuesday from March 11 to April 22 at the Prairie Room in Bismarck State College's Student Union.

Volunteer judges and lawyers from the area will teach weekly seminars on legal issues. Topics to be covered include bankruptcy, personal injury, domestic violence, legislative process, criminal law, estate planning and real property.

JaneGilbertson, director of law-related education for the bar association, said the school costs $35 for students and seniors and $50 for anyone else. The fee covers attending the class and a binder of information on legal topics.

Anyone interested in the class should call Gilbertson at 255-1404.
