Federal government offices are open today, but city and county offices in Bismarck and Mandan aren't - because of the Good Friday observance.

Also, the Bismarck landfill is closed today. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

And garbage routes have been changed. Garbage collection normally scheduled for today will be picked up on Monday.

Bismarck and Mandan public schools are closed today and Monday.
